PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to remove the encroachments made in Survey Nos.12/20, 44/37 and 44/38 situated at Ulaganeri, Uthanagudi Post, Madurai District.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ on hand has been instituted to direct the respondents to remove the encroachments made in Survey Nos.12/20, 44/37 and 44/38 situated at Ulaganeri, Uthanagudi Post, Madurai District.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Madurai Corporation would submit that enforcement actions have been initiated and notices are issued to the encroachers. 2/4

3. Since action has already been initiated, the second respondent-Madurai Corporation is directed to continue the enforcement action by affording opportunity to all the parties and remove all the encroachments identified, including the encroachment, if any made by the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
