ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as A1 and A2, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 417 of I.P.C.

, Sections 2 and 3 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.16 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that after betrothal ceremony, they have demanded 12 sovereign of jewels and Rs.50,000/- cash and also stopped the marriage.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case and it is further submitted that after engagement, the defacto complainant has opposed some adverse comment against the accused and therefore, the marriage could not be performed. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side)vehemently opposed the petition and also produced the copy of the FIR. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the allegations made against the accused in this case, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioners are not entitled to get anticipatory bail. Hence, this petition is dismissed.
