ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.76 of 2017.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent has registered a case on 13.10.2017 in Crime No.76 of 2017 under Sections 294(b), 341, 324, 506(ii) I.P.C., But, thereafter, no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that after registering the case, investigation has been done and the case has been referred as 'Mistake of Fact' and to that effect a report also has been filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, Karaikudi. He further submitted that the RCS Notice was also served on the petitioner.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to avail any other remedy, which is available under the law.
