ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the 200 MM Diameter underground drainage pipeline laid 106 ft through the petitioner's land comprised in S.Nos.26/7A, 26/7B situated at S.Alangulam, 1st Bit East Zone I, Madurai Corporation and also take necessary steps to pay appropriate compensation to the petitioner for causing damage and mischief to the petitioner's above land on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice if the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023 is directed to be considered and disposed of by the 3rd respondent within a time frame.

The learned standing counsel for the 3rd respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023 will be disposed of by the 3rd respondent within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.12.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after due notice to all the parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of 3/5
