O R D E R

This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.4037 of 2014 in S.T.C.No.1491 of 2013 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, Thoothukudi District, against the petitioner.

2.Perusal of the grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner would show that there are no merits in the grounds raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner to quash the criminal proceedings against him. The grounds raised in the petition have to be gone into in a full fledged trial. Further, perusal of the charge sheet would show that there are specific allegations as against the petitioner and it cannot be quashed at the threshold and the offence has to be investigated further. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings and the criminal original petition is liable to be dismissed. 3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
