ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the third respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 18.11.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste, whereas the proposed accused belongs to Thevar Community and since the proposed accused has assaluted the petitioner's wife by using the Caste name in Public view, a complaint was lodged on 18.11.2017, but, so far no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that after receipt of the complaint an enquiry has been conducted and during such enquiry, the petitioner appeared in person and gave a written statement stating that the issue is with regard to taking drinking water and the same has been settled and hence he requested the third respondent not to proceed further, on the complaint lodged by him and hence the said complaint has been closed. He also produced a copy of the written statement given by the petitioner and the opposite parties.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
