O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The prayer in the habeas corpus petition is to direct the respondents to secure the petitioner's daughter, namely, Jeedhu P Raj, aged about 19 years and produce her before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner would state that her husband is running a Grocery shop and they are blessed with a daughter Jeedhu P Raj, the detenue herein. She would further state that the detenue pursued her studies in Chellammal College at Chennai, however, she is found missing from 29.12.2020. Hence, she lodged a complaint to the second respondent on 30.12.2020 and the same was registered in Cr.No.475 of 2020 under 'Women Missing'. Since the second respondent has not shown any interest to secure the detenue, he has come up with the petition.

3. When the case was taken up for hearing today, the detenue and the petitioner appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Additional Public Prosecutor Office. The detenue states that she married one Shajan on 30.12.2020 at Ayinkamam, Parassala P.O., in the state of Kerala. She also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

H.C.P.(MD) No.115 of 2021 produced a Marriage Registration Certificate and now she wants to go with her husband.

4. The petitioner would state that she has to undergo an openheart surgery and she needs the help of the detenue during the treatment period. For which, the detenue would state that she along with her husband would go and help her mother.

5. In the light of the above statement of the detenue, we are of opinion that no further adjudication is required in this habeas corpus petition and hence, this petition is closed.
