W.P.[MD]No.4124/13 2.The impugned notification stipulated that the persons from a particular community alone will be considered for appointment. However, the matter went up to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Supreme Court quashed such conditions and the decision regarding the temple authorities were upheld by the Supreme Court with certain modifications. Further, the same was implemented by the respondents. Accordingly, a revised notification was also issued in proceedings dated 21.01.2019. Thus, the challenge made in respect of the notification was not acted upon. Thus, the petitioner, if otherwise eligible is at liberty to participate in the ensuing recruitment, if he has chosen to do so. However, the grounds raised in the present writ petition deserves no further consideration since, pursuant to the Supreme Court order, revised orders were issued.
