PRAYER: Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for the willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD) No.17320 of 2023, dated 20.07.2023.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] This contempt petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order, dated 20.07.2023, made in W.P.(MD) No.17320 of 2023.

2. Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1, 4 & 5, on instructions, submits that in the writ petitions in W.P.(MD) Nos.6663 to 6669 of 2023 filed by the encroachers, this Court by order dated 28.03.2023 has granted the following interim order: "Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and he is required to file a report on the existing state of affairs by 17.04.2023.

Post on 17.04.2023.

The possession of the petitioners shall not be disturbed till then."

3. In such circumstances, we are of the view that no case is made out by the petitioner for initiation of contempt proceedings as against the respondents herein.
