ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging an order passed by the respondent herein, suspending the FCRA license of the petitioner voluntary organisation invoking Section 13 of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

2. A perusal of the order impugned in the writ petition indicates that the suspension is for a period of 180 days, which is the maximum period specified under Section 13 of the above said Act. The suspension period has already expired and the respondent has not initiated any proceedings as contemplated under Section 14 of the said Act.

3. In view of the above said facts, the order impugned in the writ petition is no longer in force and hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
