[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the second respondent in TN.P.D.A.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.01/Goonda/2021, dated 10.01.2021, 1/3

branding the detenu, the petitioner's grandson, namely, Mr.Sureshkannan, aged about 22 years, S/o Koothaperumal, as a "Goonda" as contemplated under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act, 14 of 1982, detained him at the Central Prison, Madurai and to set him at liberty.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.1015, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 27.02.2021, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked.

3. Recording the above submissions, the habeas corpus petition is closed.
