Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to issue a direction directing the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry and to direct the respondent No.2 to follow the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K. Basu's case in matters pertaining to arrest or interrogtion.

O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking direction to the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioners in the name of enquiry and to direct the respondent No.2 to follow the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K. Basu's case in matters pertaining to arrest or interrogtion.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that one Prabakaran has committed suicide in respect of the same, a case has been registered for the offence under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. and he has left his suicide note. He would further submit that in the suicide note he has mentioned about the petitioners and that the respondents have summoned the petitioners for enquiry with regard to the same. Other than that, the respondents have not harassed the petitioners. The statement is recorded.
