ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.8 of 2014 on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Karur.

2.When the matter was posted for admission on 23.07.2014, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners took adjournment. Thereafter, more than four occasions, when the matter was listed, the learned counsel for the petitioner took adjournments only. Therefore, the matter is pending for the past four years without even ordering notice or admitting by this Court. 3.It seems that the petitioners have no interest to proceed with the matter. More over, the case is of the year 2014. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the pendency of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

criminal original petitioner would not serve for any purpose. 4.In view of the above, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, karur, is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
