Mr.A.Albert James, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) COMMON ORDER These modification petitions have been filed to modify the condition imposed in Paragraph No.5 (c) of the orders made in Crl.O.P.(MD).Nos.19677 and 19679 of 2024, dated 21.11.2024, wherein, this Court directed the petitioner to report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.

2. The ground that has been taken by the petitioner is that he is being harassed by the respondent Police on a daily basis and attempts are being made to register a false case.

3.The above reasoning given by the petitioner has nothing to do with the relief that was sought for in these petitions. If the Police are harassing the petitioner, the petitioner has to resort to a different remedy and he cannot seek for the modification of the condition imposed by this Court where this Court had merely directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate. In the alternative, the petitioner can also complain before the learned Judicial Magistrate, if there is any harassment from the respondent Police. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this petition.
