O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.16 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. The petitioner is the sole accused for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.16 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent and the allegation against the petitioner is that he threatened the de-facto complainant with filthy language.

3. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, a Joint Compromise Memo dated 16.07.2015 has been filed by the petitioner and the second respondent duly signed by them as well as the counsel stating that the proceedings may be quashed. The petitioner and the second respondent/de-facto complainant are present before this Court and they have admitted the compromise entered into between them.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) and the learned counsel for the second respondent.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the compromise memo, this Court is of the view that this is a fit case to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.16 of 2014 pending on the file of the respondent police.
