O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner dated 17.12.2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that on 06.12.2016, the proposed accused persons trespassed into the petitioner's properties and cut down the Neem Trees and taken away, which is worth about Rs.5,000/- and with regard to the said offence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 17.12.2016, but, so far, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4. It is seen from the copy of the postal acknowledgment that the respondents herein have received the complaint of the petitioner on 19.12.2016 itself, but, so far, no action has been taken. It is very unfortunate that the respondents are keeping the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint for more than one year without taking any action. Hence, the second respondent is directed to enquire the matter and dispose of the said complaint within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
