ORDER
This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that property in S.F.Nos.616/3D3, 616/3D4 and 616/3D5 of Sengulam Village, Palayamkottai Taluk, measuring an extent of 2 Acres and 56 Cents belonged to his grandfather. The petitioner is possession and enjoyment of the same. During UDR, the name of one Ponammal was entered into. There is no connection between the petitioner and the said Ponammal regarding S.No.616/3D3. The said Ponammal executed settlement deed in favour of her son namely, Paul Deva Asirvadham who in turn settled the property in favour of one Roopavathy. She sold the same in favour her wife and sons. The said Roopavathy purchased property from one Madan. The petitioner further states that vide Document No.653/1953 one Madhan has right for 10 cents in S.F.No.616/3D4. Without verifying the records, Madhan has been allotted 1 Acre and 10 Cents by way of fabricated documents. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 22.09.2023 to rectify the mistake occurred during UDR. Since no action was taken on the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent on instructions submitted that the respondent vide order dated 19.01.2024 has issued notice to the petitioner as well as the rival parties to appear on 29.01.2024 for enquiry.
4.In the view of the said submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent on 29.01.2024 for enquiry. The respondent shall issue notice to the rival parties also. The respondent after hearing the rival parties shall hold an enquiry and pass a final order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks thereafter. 5.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
