ORDER

Mr.N.Dilipkumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to de-freeze the petitioner's account with the 1st Respondent Bank vide Account No.497100050300283, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2024.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submitted that only upon receipt of an e-mail from the second respondent police with respect to cyber crimes pertaining to the tune of Rs.47,279/-, the petitioner's account had been frozen.

4. In view of the said submission, this Court hereby direct the first respondent Bank to de-freeze the petitioner's account by marking a lien for an amount of Rs.47,279/- and thereafter, permit the petitioner to operate the said account.

5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
