To direct the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Cirme No. 61 of 2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent police staiton under the supervision of the 1st respondent and to file the final report before learned Judicial Magistrate Court, within a stipulated time.

ORDER
This petition has been filed to punish the respondent herein for his willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.11124 of 2021, dated 11.08.2021.
2. By the order of this Court, dated 11.08.2021, a direction was issued to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation was completed and final report has been filed before the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Cont.P.(MD)No.113 of 2022 Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, on 16.03.2022. But, it has not been taken on cognizance so far.
4. Since the final report has been filed before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition.
5. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed and the contemnor/respondent is discharged.
6. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai, is directed to process the final report presented by the respondent police in accordance with law.
