ORDER

These Writ Petitions have been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners and pay the arrears of minimum wages to the petitioners as per the G.O.Ms. No.113, Environment, Climate Change and Forest (F.R.2(II)) Department, dated 20.07.2023.

2. Mr.C.Venkadesh Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents in all the Writ Petitions.

3. By consent on either sides, these Writ Petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have given representations on 23.06.2025, 21.07.2025, 26.07.2025 and 22.07.2025 respectively seeking arrears of minimum wages for the period from 01.05.1993 to 31.10.2002 and from 01.08.1981 to 16.03.2003 respectively, as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms. No.113, Environment, Climate Change and Forest (F.R.2(II)) Department, dated 20.07.2023. However, the same are yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petitions.

5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representations submitted by the petitioners will be disposed within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 23.06.2025, 21.07.2025, 26.07.2025 and 22.07.2025 respectively and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. No costs.
