PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting Rekla Race on 25.01.2020 at about 2.30 p.m to 06.00 p.m at Koiyanvilai to South Soorankudi Post Office, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.01.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission for conducting Rekla Race on 25.01.2020 at about 2.30 p.m to 06.00 p.m at Koiyanvilai to South Soorankudi Post Office, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.01.2020. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
