PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondents to register a case based on his complaint dated 16.01.2018 and investigate the case according to law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent to register a case, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 16.01.2018. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.10,000/- on 10.08.2017 from the proposed accused. At that time, he has issued two blank cheques. Further, he has submitted that subsequently, the petitioner has repaid the entire amount and he requested the proposed accused to return the blank cheques, but, instead of returning the said cheques, the proposed accused criminally intimidated by using filthy language and hence the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 16.01.2018, but, so far no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the enquiry is still pending.

4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to enquire the matter and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, then he has to register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

5,With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
