ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner herein, notice to the 2nd respondent is dispensed with. 3.This writ petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's property comprised in S.No.208/2A1A1A1A situated at Vembur Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering the petitioner's application No.200073870324126 dated 23.03.2024. 4.Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

5.The learned standing counsel, Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that, the application of the petitioner could not be considered due to the private dispute 2/4

between the petitioner and the 2nd respondent and the serious objections raised by the 2nd respondent.

6.In view of the submissions made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the 1st respondent, this Court hereby direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 23.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after giving an appropriate opportunity of hearing to the 2nd respondent and the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.The writ petition is disposed of on these terms. There shall be no order as to the costs.
