No.1907/A1/2025 dated 30.12.2025 signed on 02.01.2026 (served to be only on 05.01.2026), and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the proceedings bearing Na.Ka.No.1907/A1/2025 dated 30.12.2025 whereby the petitioner was deputed to Panchayat Union Middle School at S.P.Natham Village.

The facts of the case are that while the petitioner was working as B.T.Assistant (Maths) in Panchayat Union Middle School, M.Pudupatti, Kallikudi Union, dispute arose between the Teachers and the Headmistress of the said school. As a consequence, the petitioner herein and the Headmistress of the said school were sent on deputation to different schools through proceedings dated 30.12.2025.

3. The impugned proceeding does not disclose any reason for such deputation. But in the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, it is indicated that there were several complaints against the Headmistress of M.Pudupatti Village as well as against the petitioner and other teachers. In order to restore peace, discipline and a conducive learning atmosphere, without resorting to immediate disciplinary proceedings, the petitioner was deputed to another school 2/5

in the same Union.

4.This Court found that the impugned order though does not refer to any other proceedings that are contemplated against the petitioner, as a result of the complaint etc and accordingly required the learned Additional Government Pleader to get instruction as to how the impugned proceeding can be sustained and the deputation of the petitioner can be continued.

Accordingly, when the matter is taken up for consideration today, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader on receiving written instructions submitted that the orders of deputation will come to an end by 30.04.2026 and thereafter, the petiitoner will be posted back to the Panchayat Union School at M.Pudupati Village and therefore adjudication of the matter on merits may not be required.

In the light of the above and also taking into consideration the fact that the impugned order does not refer to any imputation or allegation against the petitioner and admittedly no disciplinary proceedings are initiated against the petitioner nor stated to be contemplated against the petitioner and the respondents themselves 3/5

are ready to post back the petitioner to the Panchayat Union School at M.Pudupatti Village with effect from 01.05.2026, this Court does not see any reason to adjudicate the matter.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed by directing the respondents to post the petitioner back to the Panchayat Union School, M.Pudupatti Village with effect from 01.05.2026. No costs.
