This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 2668 days in filing the civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgment and decree dated 20.06.2018 passed in M.C.O.P.No.10 of 2015 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (Chief Judicial Magistrate Court), Karur.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3. This petition has been filed with an enormous delay and we carefully went through the affidavit filed in support of this petition to see if sufficient reasons have been given to justify such a delay.
4. In paragraph No.5 of the affidavit, we find that there are absolutely no reasons to justify the filing of an appeal with such an enormous delay.
5. Accordingly, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed and consequently, CMA(MD) SR NO. 3271 of 2026 stands rejected at the SR stage itself.
