Order : This petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Ms.A.Udhayakumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Ms.K.K.Ramakrishnan, Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondent, this Court made the following order: This Petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.4748 of 2019, dated 29.03.2019, for producing the sureties.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners could not able to arrange the sureties within https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the time stipulated by this Court. Hence, they pray to grant further time to execute the sureties.
3. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
4. This Court by an order dated 29.03.2019 made in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.4748 of 2019, directed the petitioners to surrender before the District and Sessions Judge (PCR) Court, Ramanathapuram, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the petitioners could not arrange the sureties within the time stipulated by this Court, they file this present petition to grant further time to execute the sureties.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this petition is ordered and the time for executing the sureties is extended by one week from today (11.06.2019).
