ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2023 and to file a final report.

2. Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, would contend that the investigation in Crime No.33 of 2023 of All Women Police Station, Ottanchatram, is almost completed and they are awaiting medical certificates of the victim and the accused and prayed for two months time to file a final report.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/referred charge sheet, as the case may be in Crime No.33 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible, preferrably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
