ORDER
The petitioner herein is a widow of a Government employee, who is receiving the family pension with the effect from 04.11.2008. She now claims the benefit of the 6th and 7th Pay Commission together with One Man Pay Commission and consequently, seeks for revision of her family pension. Such a claim would be permissible in view of G.O.Ms.Nos.235 and 313, Finance (Pay Cell) Department, dated 01.06.2009 and dated 25.10.2017 respectively, provided the petitioner approaches the concerned Treasury Officer, seeking for revision of the family pension. 2/4

Accordingly, the petitioner herein is granted liberty to make a formal application before the third respondent herein, seeking for revision of the family pension for the benefits under the 6th and 7th Pay Commission together with One Man Pay Commission and on receipt of such an application, the third respondent herein shall duly process the same and pass orders revising the petitioner's family pension. Such orders shall be passed within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of the petitioner's application. The first respondent herein shall disburse the family pension to the petitioner, based on the revised orders of the third respondent herein, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date on which the revised orders is received by them from the third respondent.
