ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused No.

2, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 167, 465, 468, 471 and 477(A) of I.P.C. and under Sections 13(2) r/w. 13(1) (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 in Crime No.6 of 2012 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused has committed serious irregularities in admitting students and they have also violated the University Act for recruiting and promoting teaching and non-teaching staff.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and she has been falsely implicated in this case and the co-accused viz., A1 was already granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.11743 of 2015 dated 03.07.2015.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the respondent has completed the investigation and also laid charge sheet in this case.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of her arrest or on her appearance before the learned Special Judge for trial Cases under Prevention of Corruption Act, Tirunelveli and on her executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6. The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
