Today (08.07.2025), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 would submit that five years lease period is expired and quarrying operations are now stopped. If any illegal quarrying operations are identified or any complaints are received, the authorities competent are bound to initiate action including criminal prosecution against the offenders.
