ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police in Crime No.8 of 2014, on the file of the respondent police for offence under Sections 406 and 420 IPC, the petitioner is now before this Court seeking Anticipatory Bail.
2.Earlier, this Court had referred the matter to the Mediation Centre for settlement. The Mediation Centre has sent a failure report dated 16.12.2014 on 17.12.2014. On 27.01.2015, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The respondent police was present. Hence, the matter was adjourned to today under the caption 'for orders'. Today, when the matter is called, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
3.It is seen that this petitioner along with his wife was running an unauthorised chit and had received money from 31 depositors to the tune of Rs.58,68,650/- and he has cheated them. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Taking into consideration the gravity of the allegations against this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
