ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the learned Family Court, Thanjavur in M.C.No.14 of 2020 dated 15.05.2023 and set a side the same.

2. The first respondent is the wife of the petitioner and second respondent is the daughter of the petitioner.

3. The marriage between the petitioner and the first respondent was solemnized on 23.03.2015. Due to some misunderstanding, they were separated. Thereafter, the first respondent filed divorce petition in D.V.C.No.123 of 2023 before the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur. Pending the divorce petition, first respondent filed maintenance petition in M.C.No.14 of 2020 before the Family Court, Thanjavur, claiming maintenance to the respondents. The learned Judge, directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.10,000- each to the respondents total sum of Rs.20,000/- as interim monthly maintenance. Challenging, the said maintenance amount, the petitioner has filed this petition.

4. Today (26.06.2024), when the matter was taken up for hearing, both counsel on record would submit that parties entered into a compromise and filed a compromise memo before the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur, which is extracted here under :- 2/7

5. The contents of the above joint compromise memo were read over and explained to both the parties and they would admit the same. The joint compromise memo filed by both the parties before the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur, is recorded.

6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submittted that part of the amount has already been paid by the petitioner and the remaining amount wlll be paid within six months.

7. In view of the compromise entered between the parties before the trial Court, this Criminal Revision Case is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
