ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to transfer the private complaint in HRC.No. 2 of 2017 on the file of the Principal Sessions Court, Thanjavur to the Principal District Court, Dindigul.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. The only reason canvassed by the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed as Deputy Superintendent of Police and now he is in pre-promotional training at Chennai and since he has to travel more than 400 kms and it will take more than 8 hours for travelling the same, the case has to be transferred.
4. The reason canvassed by the petitioner cannot be considered as a ground or reason to transfer the case and except the above, the petitioner has not shown any other valid reason or ground to transfer the case. Moreover, the case is pending for the past five years and NonBailable Warrant is pending against the petitioner. Considering the above, this Court is not inclined to transfer the case.
5. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 20.01.2023 NCC :
