ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 10.01.2025 under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) praying to grant bail.

2. The petitioner / accused No.1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.12.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 296(b), 126(2), 308(5) , 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS r/w. 25 (1-A) of Arms Act in Crime No.820 of 2024, on the 1/3

file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner herein has involved in 17 previous cases in similar type of offence and further, now, he was detained under Act, 14, of 1982 and hence, prays for dismissal of this petition.

4. Considering the antecedents of the petitioner and the nature of offence allegedly committed by the petitioner, this Court is of the view that if the bail is granted to the petitioner he will commit similar type of offence and thereby, create law and order problem and disrupt the public order. Moreover, he is detained under Act, 14 of 1982 also. Considering the cumulative factors, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
