O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case, based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 13.01.2018.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property situated in S.Nos.166/2B, A and 4B measuring about one acre at Melur village. He further submitted that one Rajendiran, who was working as Village Assistant in the Melur Village has created a false document, with a view to grab the petitioner's land and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 13.01.2018, but, so far, no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents has submitted that the petitioner has sent a complaint by RPAD to the first respondent and the same has been forwarded to the second respondent and now, the matter is pending before the second respondent for enquiry.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry

reveals any cognizable offence, then, he has has to register a case and proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
