This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to disburse the petitioner's share of the compensation amount of Rs.1,63,94,484/- (Rupees One Crore SixtyThree Lakhs Ninety-Four Thousand Four Hundred and Eighty-Four only) awarded by the third respondent herein in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 67/2021/A1/Kaa.Vai.Ku., dated 30.06.2023, in respect of the land acquired by the respondents under the Cauvery-Vaigai-Gundar Canal Link Scheme, Phase-I, Keeranur, Pudukottai District, comprised in Survey No.76/13, measuring about 0.19.0 hectares, situated at Kunnathur Village, Illupur Taluk, Pudukottai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the entire compensation amount has been deposited in L.A.O.P.No.102 of 2025 before the Principal District Court, Pudukottai.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of. Since the petitioner is claiming a share in the said compensation, it is open to the petitioner to approach the aforesaid Court seeking his share by providing all necessary documents. No costs.
