O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025 and consequently, directing the respondent to change the patta in the name of the Sri Arulmigu Sindhayi Amman Koil, which is situated at Parukkaikudi Village, Muthukulathur Taluk, Ramanathapuram District instead of the private persons as per the proceeding of the VAO.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. Since no adverse orders are going to be passed against the respondents 2 to 5, notice to the respondents 2 to 5 is hereby dispensed with.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner and his relatives contributed their land to the Aruligu Sindhayi Amman Koil. After contribution, the petitioner and his relatives registered the said land before the Sub Registrar office by way of a registered settlement deed vide Document No. 668/2025 dated 25.04.2025. The land in which, the temple is situated stand in the name of the respondents 2 to 5. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to change the patta in the name of the temple. Since the first respondent did not take any action, the petitioner has been constrained to approach this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of twelve weeks.

6. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits 3/6

and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The first respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, respondents 2 to 5 and any other interested parties who may be affected by such decision before passing any order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the competent Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
