This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the mother of the detenue,directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenue by name Keerthika, wife of Sangu Sathish, aged about 25 years and produce her before this Court and set her at liberty. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The Petitioner, who is the mother of one Keerthika, aged 25 years, had gone missing and a complaint was given to the Sivagangai Town Police Station on 05.12.2023 informing that her daughter gone missing saying that she is going out in search of a job. Since the 2/5
Police was unable to trace the missing girl, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
4.Today by way of mentioning, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the missing girl was traced from Chennai, where she was searching for a job and she had now joined with the Petitioner. Both the Petitioner and her daughter present before this Court today.The Petitioner states that her daughter has been traced and hence, she has no further grievance in this matter.
5.Recording the above facts, the Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of.
