O R D E R

The petitioner alleges harassment at the hands of the respondent police. To forbear them from doing so, this criminal original petition has been filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that the petitioner is a history sheeted rowdy and that cases are pending against him. 3.Be that as it may, if the respondent police want to the enquire the petitioner, they will have to necessarily issue written summons. The question of orally summoning the petitioner does not arise. While dealing with the petitioner, the respondent police have to strict to due process of law.

4.With these directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
