O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the concerned official respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the land situated in Ward L-21, Trichy West Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, based on Inam Title Deed No. 814 and the Inam Fair Register issued by the Government, by considering the petitioner's representations dated 04.12.2025 and 22.12.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Page No. 2 of 6

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's predecessors were the Inamdars under Inam Title Deed No. 814 relating to Sengulam Inam Village, Tiruchirappalli; that the petitioner and his deceased father had made several representations seeking issuance of patta in Ward L-21, Trichy West Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, on the basis of the said Inam Title Deed and the Inam Fair Register issued by the Government; that in particular, the petitioner has made representations dated 04.12.2025 and 22.12.2025; that no action has been taken on the said representations; and that therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first to fifth respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's representations dated 04.12.2025 and 22.12.2025 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the fifth respondent within a period of twelve weeks.
5. Recording the above submission and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the fifth respondent to consider the petitioner's Page No. 3 of 6
representations dated 04.12.2025 and 22.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representations shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry. The fifth respondent is also directed to provide a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties who may be affected by such decision before passing any order. In the event of any rival claims, the parties are at liberty to pursue their remedies before the competent Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
