O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case based upon the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 05.01.2018.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No.191 of 2016 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Melur for partition and during pendency of the said suit the proposed accused persons, who were being the brothers of the petitioner, cut the trees and put fire to the trees and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 05.01.2018, but so far, no action has been taken. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has submitted that on previous occasion the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 16.10.2017 and after enquiry, the said complaint was disposed of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and thereafter, again the petitioner has lodged another complaint on 05.01.2018 and the same is still pending for enquiry. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence then he has to register the case and proceed in accordance with law.

5.With the aforesaid observation, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
