ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The case of the writ petitioner is that the property stood in the name of her grandmother Kuraishal Beevi. The petitioner would allege that due to mistake committed during UDR, her grandmother's name disappeared in the revenue records. The petitioner wants restoration of her grandmother's name and thereafter making of appropriate changes. The petitioner has given a representation only before the first respondent. The competent authority is the District Revenue Officer. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation before the third respondent/the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram. After receiving the same, the third respondent shall enquire and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The third respondent shall hear all the interested persons, if any before passing final order. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or the other.
