ORDER

Seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to comply the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate, Gandarvakkottai, in Crl MP No.578 of 2025 dated 03.10.2025 to re-investigate the FIR in Crime No.40 of 2018 and to file a final report within two months, this criminal original petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gandarvakkottai, in Crl.M.P.No.578 of 2025 dated 03.10.2025, the respondent police had failed to reinvestigate the First Information Report in Crime No.40 of 2018 and sought indulgence of this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent is directed to comply the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gandarvakkottai, in 2/4

Crl.M.P.No.578 of 2025 dated 03.10.2025 and conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible within a period of four (4) weeks from date of receipt of copy of this order. The 1st respondent is directed to monitor the investigation and the 2nd respondent is directed to apprise the 1st respondent of the progress of the investigation every Friday.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
