PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner (Enrolment Number.2706666) to participate in the other physical efficiency test for the post of Grade-II Constable, Grade II Jail Warders and Firemen in the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.

No.14761 of 2017, the respondents herein have not permitted the petitioner to take part in the other test pursuant to the declaration that they have passed the rope test.
2. Today, when the matter is called, the learned Additional Advocate General, who is assisted by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, on instructions submitted that both the petitioners herein were permitted to take part in the other tests in the selection process and both the petitioners have qualified in the same. As such, the prayer sought for in the present writ petitions has become infructuous and no effective orders can be passed herein.
