O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition praying to direct the 2nd respondent to provide necessary police protection to the life and property of the petitioner, on the basis of complaint given by the petitioner, dated 01.06.2015 and to take necessary action against the proposed accused.

2.I have heard the counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the Government Advocate (crl.side) that the petitioner is A2 in Crime No. 158 of 2015. It is further submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.115902 of 2015, a case has been registered against the petitioner. The petitioner, in order to evade from the enquiry, has come before this Court with this petition and therefore, prayed for dismissal of the Criminal Original Petition.

4. As rightly pointed out by the Government Advocate (crl.side), the petitioner has come before this Court only in order to evade from the enquiry, to be conduced by the respondent police. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for by the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
