ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct respondents to grant permission for conducting the Kida Muttu cultural event on 08.02.2026 from 8.00a.m to 2.00 p.m at Survey Nos.431/1B and 431/1C Batlagundu Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondent Police had considered the petitioner's representation and rejected the same. Thereafter, the case was transferred to the first respondent, who considered the petitioner's representation 2/4

dated 20.12.2025 and passed a rejection order on 27.01.2026. Therefore, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said rejection order in accordance with law.
