ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to direct the second respondent to register a case, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 26.08.2017. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the proposed accused persons have caused cruelty to the petitioner by demanding dowry and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 26.08.2017, but so far no action has been taken.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted after the receipt of the complaint, enquiry has been commenced and the report is await from the Social Welfare Officer and after receiving the said report further action would be taken. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Taking into consideration, the complaint is pending from 26.08.2017, the second respondent is directed to expedite the enquiry and if the enquiry reveals an cognizable offence, then, register a case and proceed further in accordance with law. 4.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
