The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to pay compensation amount awarded for the land acquired by the respondents situtate in S.No.516/3A, in Velvarkottai Village, Vellapommanpatti, by considering her representation dated 24.06.2024.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.T.A.Ebenezer, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the fourth respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The petitioner claims right over the subject property under a settlement deed dated 17.04.1998, executed by her husband Kuppatchi Reddiar. It is not in dispute that the second respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.853/2008/A4/The-Ne-45, dated 23.02.2010, passed an order fixing the compensation amount payable to the subject property in S.No.516/3A at Rs.2,69,943/-. The petitioner, who is claiming right under settlement deed executed by her husband Kuppatchi Reddiar, submitted a representation before the second respondent on 24.06.2024, seeking disbursement of the compensation amount. The said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the competent authority viz., the second respondent will consider the representation made by the petitioner.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024 and pass final orders on 3/6
its own merits within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
