J U D G M E N T
[Judgment of the Court was made by RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J.] The fifth respondent herein is a registered Trust. It had entered into a contract with the second respondent - Town Panchayat for
implementing Solid Waste Management Scheme and to that effect, an order was passed for the period 2021-2022.
2. After hearing both sides, the learned Single Judge, by order dated 29.10.2020, allowed the writ petition. The relevant portion of the said order is extracted hereunder:
"10.The order impugned in this writ petition is quashed. The 4th respondent is directed to issue a fresh tender notification. The 4th respondent can evolve his norms for finalizing the tender. Till the same is finalized, the 5th respondent can continue the contract of carrying Solid Waste Management Scheme for the 4th respondent. The fourth respondent Panchayat is directed to complete the process of exercising and finalizing the new tender within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. "
3. Now, it is brought to the notice of this Court, that the solid waste management scheme was implemented and the tender period is also over and therefore, nothing survives for consideration in this writ appeal.
4. Recording the above submission, this writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
