ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioners, to direct the fifth respondent to provide police protection to the petitioners based on the representations submitted by the petitioners, dated 29.01.2018 and 01.02.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are the President and the Secretary of Thiruthangal Melatheru Thevar Uravinmuari, Thiruthangal Town, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District respectively. He further submitted that the petitioners on behalf of their community people, have established a statue for the famous freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar and also constructed a society hall. He further submitted that the opposite party is trying to trespass into the hall and causing disturbance from conducting official functions and hence, the petitioners have lodged complaints before the fifth respondent on 29.01.2018 and 01.02.2018, but so far, no action has been taken and hence, the petitioner are apprehending that the opposite parties may indulge in criminal activities. 3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioners are leading one faction and the opposite party leading another faction of the same community. He further submitted that after receipt of the complaints, enquiry has been conducted and the same have been closed, directing the parties to approach the Civil Court and obtain proper remedy.
4.Recording the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is open to the petitioners to avail any other remedy, which is available under the law.
